“I have been working in private practice as a LPC-MHSP since 1985 and LSPE-HSP since 1992. I provide psychological evaluations for both acute care and residential treatment centers as well as my private practice (Beyer Psychology Group). In 1992 I authored the book “Born to be Wild, ADHD, Alcoholism and Addiction” elaborating regarding the co-morbidities between ADHD and addictive illness. I most recently authored the book, “The Girl In The Iron Lung, The Dianne O’Dell Story”. I regularly donate time to train law enforcement officers on Crisis intervention. I provided psychological evaluations for DCS for a decade or more. I have been passionate about helping families of young children with ADHD as well as assessing and helping adults who struggle with this disorder. I was awarded “Child Advocate of the Year” by West Tennessee Healthcare Foundation. I have provided training for hundreds of professional groups on various mental health topics and continue to enjoy teaching and training other professionals.”
