I am an Associate Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation (A-LPC/MHSP), and I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults. I have a particular passion for working with adolescent boys and men, and I help clients navigate anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, trauma, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-esteem, shame, and questions surrounding identity and purpose.
I believe therapy can be a place to honestly explore both the struggles we experience and the stories we have come to believe about ourselves. My approach is relational and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), attachment-based approaches, psychodynamic theory, strengths-based therapy, and other evidence-based interventions to help clients better understand themselves, develop practical tools, and create meaningful change.
As a Christian counselor, I welcome the opportunity to integrate faith into therapy for clients who desire it. I recognize that faith can be an important source of hope, meaning, identity, and resilience, while also understanding that struggles with doubt, shame, relationships, suffering, or one’s understanding of God can sometimes become part of what brings someone to counseling. I seek to create space for clients to explore these experiences honestly rather than feeling as though they need to have the “right” answers or present a polished version of themselves.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in accounting and business, giving me firsthand appreciation for the pressures of demanding careers, perfectionism, burnout, and balancing professional responsibilities with relationships and personal well-being. My own experiences with counseling have also shaped my belief in the value of self-reflection, vulnerability, and having meaningful support during difficult seasons of life.
Above all, I value building genuine relationships with my clients. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel known and understood, supported when life feels overwhelming, and challenged when appropriate as they work toward greater freedom, healthier relationships, and a life that more closely reflects who they want to be and, for clients who desire faith integration, who they believe God has created them to be.
