Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation (LPC-MHSP). She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lipscomb University and has received specialized training in many evidence-based practices, including parenting support, developmental counseling, child-centered play therapy, person-centered counseling, and expressive arts. Lauren is excited to work with children, teens, and adults who experience a variety of presenting concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, externalizing behaviors, and more. Lauren collaborates with clients to establish and accomplish their goals within the safety of the therapeutic relationship. During the process of working toward clients’ goals, she helps clients connect with themselves and their inner resources through evidence-based therapeutic practices. As clients become more aware of their own uniqueness and inherent value, they can navigate their experiences and relationships with others in more meaningful ways. Lauren is honored to work with clients as they learn to engage with their stories and become more present in their lives. Often, life is unpredictable and messy, and Lauren seeks to empower clients to embrace life’s unknowns with a sense of confidence and courage.
