Hello! I’m Katie, a Nashville therapist for adolescents, adults, and couples.
I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary. I believe people are hurt in relationships, and they heal in relationships too, so I aim to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can bring all parts of themselves and be met with understanding rather than shame.
My style is relational, meaning I prioritize truly listening and walking alongside clients as a team rather than directing from a distance. I’m comfortable integrating my Christian faith with research-based practices, if that’s something a client wants woven into our work together.
I work from a primarily attachment-based and trauma-informed approach, using EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) techniques to help clients work through eating disorders, including experience at higher levels of care, couples concerns like affair recovery and communication, and trauma, moving beyond surviving pain toward lasting healing.
I’m currently accepting new clients, in person or via telehealth, and I welcome referrals from fellow clinicians. I’d love to hear from you.
