I am the 9thof 10 children, born and raised in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I am a licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. I use a holistic approach to counseling, which means that I use a variety of approaches and view people as having many parts: body, soul and spirit. I see therapy as a collaborative effort. In 1998, I graduated from MTSU with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I completed her Master’s degree in Counseling at Trevecca Nazarene University in 2003 and her doctorate in Clinical Counseling, Teaching and Supervision in 2010. I have worked at AGAPE meeting clients one day a week since 2003 and am an adjunct professor at Trevecca Nazarene University. I am especially interested in grief and loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, and premarital counseling. I work primarily with individual adults as well as, some couple counseling. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Level I and II and Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT).
