Dr. Jennifer Myers is a Licensed Pastoral Counselor through the National Christian Counselors Association where she also received her Certification in Temperament Counseling and Advanced Certification in Integrated Marriage and Family Therapy. Jennifer was ordained as a Minister of the Gospel by New Life Ministerial Association, a ministerial fellowship of pastoral counselors.
Jennifer has an immense love of learning. She attended Middle Tennessee State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Special Education in 2002 and a Master of Education in School Guidance and Counseling in 2008. She is grateful for the extensive experience she gained during her 20-year career in the school system by providing consultation and counseling to children and their families. She went on to earn her Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Christian Counseling from the Colorado Theological Seminary and N.C.C.A.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, and Toni, the family Cavapoo. They are members of a local church where she has served in the counseling ministry. She has counseled in various settings and has experience working with adolescents, families, pre-marital, marital, and group counseling.
Compassion is at the heart of her counseling. Experiences in life can be difficult and, at times, feel overwhelming, but you are not alone. Jennifer is passionate about helping people find purpose in their pain. Through God’s Word, she will help you find blessings in the struggle and walk alongside you toward healing. Life is full of seasons, and as with seasons, they come and go. This is your season to learn, to heal, and to rebuild. Jennifer offers a confidential, safe, and Christ-focused environment to share.
