My own path of discovery began following a tragic car accident which resulted in my husband and two of our friends losing their lives and I sustained critical injuries. My recovery from my physical injuries would take almost two years. My recovery from my mental, emotional and spiritual wounds would take much longer. It was during my process of healing that I was given a very definite call to be a Mental Health Counselor. What seemed like the most unlikely time for someone to help others turned out to be one of the biggest blessings of my life. My life experiences have allowed me to gain tremendous insight into what my clients experience in the midst of traumas, loss, adjustments in life and the very difficult but very possible journey of re-building their lives. I learned that courage is not what we “feel” but what we “do.” What seems impossible in the moment is very possible once we choose hope. With over 17 years of experience, my passion is to inspire psychological well-being and authentic living by helping individuals discover their Significance in their Unique identity and Purpose in what is often the most challenging times in their lives. I offer an integrative therapy approach with effective therapeutic techniques to enhance relationships.
