LPC-MHSP \n1 CEU Credit will be offered.  Zoom only \nLearning Objectives: \n\nDifferentiate through evidenced based assessment between true suicidal ideation and intrusive suicidal thoughts characteristic of suicidal OCD (a subtype of harm-related OCD) and explore appropriate treatment protocols for each.\nUnderstand and explain the difference between ego-syntonic and ego-dystonic suicidal thoughts and how clinical language and treatment interventions affect treatment outcomes.\nRecognize and mitigate the differences between genuine suicide risk and OCD-related fear of suicide\, while understanding areas of clinical overlap and risk.\n\nEmily is a licensed professional counselor in Nashville\, TN (LPC-MHSP) and owner of Nashville Anxiety and Performance Counseling where she specializes in treating OCD\, anxiety related disorders and performance concerns from ages 6 and up. She has been extensively trained in DBT\, CBT\, ERP\, and ACT. Emily has worked in the mental health field for over a decade and has presented at the International OCD Foundation several times as well as the Anxiety and Depression Association of America. She holds a BS in Human Development and Family Sciences with a specialization in Middle Childhood Education from The Ohio State University (2014) and a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with specialization in play therapy and expressive arts from Lipscomb University (2018). SUMMARY:Internal Landscapes of the Creative Self: An IFS-Informed Expressive Arts Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Kymberlee Stanley\n\nLicensed Clinical Social Worker\, LCSW\, MSW\, PPS School Counselor\nPrivate Practice Website Page: Kymberleestanley.com/psychotherapy\n\nFine Art Website: Kymberleestanley.com\n\n\n\n2 CEU credits will be awarded \nKymberlee will use her 20 years of clinical experience and artistic training to lead clinicians through an self-reflective expressive arts activity\, allowing therapists to experience the power of creativity and spirituality in the IFS process. This 2 hour experiential art workshop will be taught in Kymberlee’s private art studio and counseling offices using watercolor paints and watercolor paper.  Kymberlee will integrate somatic awareness\, prayer and the arts to create a dialogue between our internal parts and the creativity present in Self and Spirit. This workshop is designed to invite creativity into our internal dialogues\, and not about creating a work of art. No experience necessary\, all materials provided.  \nTherapists will leave this workshop with at least 2 creative activities that can be used in their professional practices and possibly gain personal insight along the way. \nSpace is limited to 10 participants.
