DESCRIPTION:Kymberlee Stanley\n\nLicensed Clinical Social Worker\, LCSW\, MSW\, PPS School Counselor\nPrivate Practice Website Page: Kymberleestanley.com/psychotherapy\n\nFine Art Website: Kymberleestanley.com\n\n\n\n\n\nKymberlee has invited us to her art studio/therapy space for a unique experience for both our personal and professional development.\nUsing an Internal Family Systems lens\, Kymberlee will guide us in an expressive arts activity processing our current feelings within our therapeutic environments.\nParticipants can create as much or as little as they desire.\nNo art experience is necessary. \n2 CEU credits will be awarded \nKymberlee Stanley has been in private practice since 2003 in California and Tennessee. She is passionate about using expressive arts in her work as a professional painter and with her patients in psychotherapy. She enjoys using an eclectic mix of approaches including psychodynamic\, Internal Family Systems\, EMDR\, Expressive Arts\, sand play techniques in her private art studio and therapy offices in Nashville. She specializes in working with women with a history of trauma\, “Church Hurt”\, children in schools\, and helping neurodiverse marriages. She also especially enjoys working with creative folks of all kinds. She is a professional impressionist oil painter who paints in her studio and teaches painting with local painting groups. She is the founder of the the Nashville Painters Salon who supports local painters with mutual collaboration and resources to thrive. \nAll materials will be provided. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nReview overview of expressive arts practices in therapy – a non-judgmental and process-oriented approach.\nFacilitate 30-minute therapist Expressive Arts activity using art materials for therapist self-reflection.\nProvide a time of quiet listening to notice inner dialogue between our spiritual and work parts.\nTherapists can choose to share their reflections with others or keep private\n\nSpace is limited to 10 participants.
