Dawn is an Enneagram 9 who enjoys helping others gather the pieces of their lives in meaningful ways to find harmony within. She believes a safe space is vital to practicing self-compassion and reclaiming your voice in your story.
Dawn recognizes that our individual lives are impacted by our unique place in the world. She incorporates the physical, spiritual, relational, and emotional aspects of each individual and takes a holistic approach in working towards growth and change. Dawn is drawn to help those who have experienced trauma and focuses on the mind-body connection. Dawn is also passionate about supporting couples in building a relationship that can be a safe haven through the storms of life. For couples therapy, Dawn is level one Gottman method trained and certified in Prepare/Enrich for pre-engagement and pre-marital counseling. Additionally, Dawn is trained in Somatic Attachment-Based EMDR for trauma work. Dawn’s therapeutic practice is informed by internal family systems theory, emotionally focused therapy, and narrative therapy. She hopes that, after working together, your relationships will be healthier, you will feel more connected to yourself, and you will be able to authentically express who you are.
Dawn is a pre-licensed professional who earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Lipscomb University. When Dawn is not meeting with clients, she can be found spending time with her family, digging in her garden, hiking down a trail in the woods, or snuggling one of her dogs.
