Amy completed her bachelor’s degree in biblical counseling and master’s degree in professional counseling while her kids were growing. Amy loves to work with clients of all ages who struggle with grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. Amy sees clients across the age spectrum from the age of 5 to the elderly. As a play therapist, Amy utilizes her training and experience in Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, and other child appropriate approaches. As a trauma therapist, Amy utilizes EMDR and other valid therapeutic techniques to help clients reclaim safety and security. She integrates attachment, emotion, and interpersonal neurobiological approaches for the best outcomes with every client regardless of age, gender, culture or disability. Amy loves to travel, crochet, and read true stories of people who have faced insurmountable odds and survived. She fully believes that real life is crazier than fiction.
